Kenison's daughter to head Sawyer's Creek Family Fun Park

John and Judy Kenison, the new owners of Sawyer’s Creek Family Fun Park are proud to announce that their daughter, Jeanne Youngwirth, is going to move back to Hannibal and join them as the General Manager for Sawyer’s Creek. She is going to have an emphasis this year on marketing to the community, group sales, and special events. Joining Jeanne in her move back to the area will be her husband, Nathan Youngwirth, and their son, Chase.
Jeanne is a 1996 graduate from Hannibal High School and a 2001 graduate from Hannibal-LaGrange College with a Bachelors Degree in Business with an emphasis in Marketing. She brings experience in Theme Parks dating back to her college days where she was an assistant manager of The Landing Water Park. Since college she has spent most of her career in advertising sales working for Lamar Outdoor, Ad Trend, Inc, and Time Warner in the Kansas City market. She also has the added experience in marketing by working for Bennett Packaging of Kansas City in developing their Marketing Department. She is currently completing her certifications in National Event and Wedding Planning. Jeanne has many ideas already in mind for Sawyer’s Creek. Jeanne loves Hannibal and remembers going to Sawyer’s Creek in her younger days. She remembers it as a fun place to go and wants to make it an enjoyable park for all ages.
“We expect changes to take place at Sawyer’s Creek this year and more to come in the future. We hope to experience an eager community for family entertainment,” says John and Judy Kenison. “We feel Jeanne will be a great asset not only to Sawyer’s Creek but to the city of Hannibal, the outlining communities and local tourism.”
