US Marine Corps Major Brian Foster has served in Korea, Japan, much of the Pacific, in addition to Iraq.
He has done a carrier cruise in 2005 off of the USS Nimitz. He got his wings in 1998 and went to the operating forces flying F-18’s in 2000. He was a Forward Air Controller during OIF-1 (Operation Initial Invasion of Iraq), and recently completed a three-year exchange tour with the Canadian Air Force. He is currently serving on the Commanding General’s staff at 1st Marine Expeditionary Force. Major Foster is the son of Lynda Foster of Columbia and Rick and Dorothy Foster of Monroe City. His proud grandparents include David and Jo Utterback of Hunnewell.
