Damon Vuch, chairperson of the Monroe City Chamber of Commerce’s Cookies for Soldiers is seeking the names and addresses of local soldiers so that homemade cookies and Christmas greetings may be sent from the Monroe City community.
You may leave the addresses at The Lake Gazette or the Monroe City Senior Nutrition Center.

Anyone who wants to donate cookies may take them to the Monroe City Nutrition Center. The nutrition center staff also will bake cookies for those who are unable to do so, and donations of cash, flour, sugar, chips and nuts are welcome also.
