Monroe City Police

Monroe City Police Chief Rick Stone reported the following activity for the past week.
On Nov. 16, there was a report of a suspicious individual in the high school gymnasium. The individual left prior to police arriving at the gym.
Someone reported that items had been stolen from a vehicle at 421 W. Summer St. on Nov. 18.
A rifle was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at 202 E. Abbott on Nov. 18.
A wallet was stolen on Nov. 18 from a vehicle parked at 415 N. Chestnut.
Police reported to an argument between two individuals on Nov. 18. The individuals settled it between themselves.
Police responded to a report of a fight among four people on Nov. 18.
A report of stolen license plates was taken from 620 S. Monroe St.
On Nov. 22, police issued a summons to Lindsey Moore for peace disturbance. On the same date, police issued a summons for assault in the third degree to Bradley Williams.

The event will again be held at Mark Twain Lake South Spillway.

BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING–Dec. 8 at 5 p.m.– LOCATION: Monroe County Health Department
GENERAL “WALK-IN” CLINICS
Clinic will include immunizations, blood pressures, and other health services.
LOCATIONS:
Monroe City Senior Nutrition Center from 3-4 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 7, 14, 21, and 28.
Monroe City Senior Nutrition Center from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3, 10, 17 and 31.
Monroe County Health Department in Paris from 8-10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, 11, and 18.
Madison Community Center from 2 to 3 p.m. on Dec. 28.
ENVIRONMENTAL
PUBLIC HEALTH SPECIALIST
The Environmental Public Health Specialist is available, by appointment, according to the following weekly schedule: Monday’s and Wednesday’s from 9 a.m. to noon.
WOMENS WELLNESS/FAMILY PLANNING CLINIC
Clinic offers women of reproductive age a Cervical and Breast Screening, STD testing and methods of birth control by appointment only. Clinic date is Thursday, Dec. 10, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
WIC
Pregnant, breastfeeding, postpartum women, and infants and children up to age 5 may qualify.
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
LOCATIONS:
Monroe City Christian Church on Tuesday, December 1st and 22nd.
Monroe County Health Department in Paris, on Wednesday, Dec. 2 and 16.

The Monroe County Health Department will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27 in observance of Thanksgiving. The Monroe County Health Department will be closed Dec. 24 and 25 in observance of Christmas.
Monroe County Health Department provides services in the home for the homebound patients. The objective of this program is to enable patients who do not require full-time nursing care to remain in their own homes. Care is given under the direction of a physician. Services include skilled nursing care, personal care, physical therapy, and speech therapy. Medicare, Medicaid, and many other commercial health insurance plans cover services. For information regarding the services provided by the Monroe County Health Department/Home Health Agency, please call 660-327-4653 or 660-327-4259.
All services are provided on a non-discriminatory basis and in cooperation with the Missouri Department of Health.
