Holy Rosary School is celebrating Catholic Schools Week from Monday, Feb. 1 through Friday, Feb. 5 with the theme “Holy Rosary - Dividends for Life.” Four main “dividends” of Faith, Knowledge, Discipline and Morals are recognized, although there are man will come at a good time.

Local man dies in farm-related accident
Funeral services are pending for a retired Monroe City tool and diemaker, husband and father, Paul Gander. Gander was pronounced dead at 7:30 p.m. Monday by Marion County Coroner Peggy Porter. He and his son, Martin, were working on a tractor when a h will come at a good time.
